Delete your AMI Trade account

Sad to see you go. Here's how to remove your account and data from AMI Trade.

This page lets you request deletion of your AMI Trade account — the AMI trading-education app listed on the Google Play Store and the App Store. Submit the form below (or email us from your account address) and we'll remove your data. AMI Trade is simulation-only; deleting your account does not affect any real-world holdings because there are none.

1. How to request deletion

  1. Fill in the form below with the email address on your AMI Trade account, and choose Delete my account and data.
  2. Or email us at [email protected] from that same email address, with the subject "Delete my account".
  3. We verify the request using the email on file, so please use the address you signed up with.
  4. We delete your data within 30 days and email you to confirm when it's done.

2. What gets deleted — and what we keep

All of your data is deleted, except two things.

We permanently delete everything associated with your account — your profile, chat and Concierge messages, journal entries, simulated trades, mandate, and settings. The only data we retain is:

  • Your email address — kept so we have a record that the deletion was requested and completed, and to prevent abuse of the deletion process.
  • System logs — kept for security, fraud prevention, and to meet our legal obligations.

Everything else is erased. Retained email and system logs are held only as long as needed for those purposes and are never used to rebuild your account.

When a new version is published, the previous version is preserved at /ami-trade/sad-to-see-you-go/v<N>/ for audit.
